Andrographolide is a white powder.Melting point 224-230ºC (decomposition).Soluble in boiling ethanol, slightly soluble in methanol or ethanol, very slightly soluble in chloroform, insoluble in water or ether.It is odorless and has a bitter taste.Andrographolide is a diterpene lactone compound extracted from Andrographolide, which is one of the main active components of Chinese traditional medicine Andrographolide.Andrographolide is dissolved in boiling ethanol, slightly soluble in methanol or ethanol, very slightly soluble in chloroform, and almost insoluble in water or ether.It has the effect of removing heat and detoxification, reducing inflammation and relieving pain, and has a special effect on bacterial and viral upper respiratory tract infection and dysentery.
