Extract of Tribulus terrestris is a product extracted from the fruit or whole grass of Tribulus terrestris. The commercial extract is usually labeled as containing 20% or 40% saponins. Tribulus terrestris is traditionally used as medicine with the fruit and the content of total saponin is the lowest.The content of saponin in stems and leaves was higher, and the content of saponin in stems and leaves collected in June was the highest.The content of flavonoids in the whole grass was higher in July and August, and the highest content was found in Xinjiang and Shuozhou.
