Minoxidil sulfate is a white crystalline powder, which can be used as an antihypertensive agent and a medical intermediate for hair growth.Minoxidil sulfate is an effective ATP-sensitive K+ channel agonist and is a sulfate metabolite of Minoxidil. Minoxidil sulfate is recognized as a vasodilating reagent that promotes hair growth in animal models.
