Niacinamide also called nicotinamide, vitamin B3, or vitamin PP, is a kind of water-soluble vitamins, belong to the B vitamins, as coenzyme , nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) and coenzyme (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate, NADP) components, in the structure of human body these two kinds of coenzyme nicotinamide partial hydrogenation and dehydrogenation properties of reversible, hydrogen effect in the biological oxidation, can promote tissue respiration and metabolism, biological oxidation process, to maintain normal tissues, especially in the integrity of the skin, gastrointestinal, and nervous system is of great significance. When lacking, the respiration and metabolism of cells will be affected and cause pellagra, so this product is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of pellagra, stomatitis, glossitis, etc.
