Product Description:
This product is a white powder with good fluidity and is not easily hygroscopic. It does not turn yellow within a few days below 110 ºC and is easily soluble in water. The aqueous solution appears alkaline and quickly decomposes when exposed to acid, releasing carbon dioxide. It is almost insoluble in alcohols and ethers.
Usage:
Used in the pharmaceutical industry for preparing effervescent tablets, neutralizing stomach acid drugs, solubilizing poorly soluble acidic drugs, and adding them to detergents as foaming agents
