What is Citicoline sodium?

It also known as cytidine diphosphate-choline (CDP-Choline). In addition to being a nutritional supplement, it is a nutrient that actually exists in the body. It is a water-soluble compound and an important mediator in the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, the main component of gray matter brain tissue. It also helps to produce many other types of phospholipids, which are the building blocks of cell membranes. The supplement was first developed in Japan to help patients with certain types of strokes recover better. It also noted that the supplement showed promise in helping people with glaucoma.

Packaging:
